the quantum ceo · the field research series · five volumes
Where the arcs come from — and how to use them.
The Field Research series is the story behind the 264 arcs: thirteen years of watching how real conversations move — in families, teams, and organizations — and what happened when those observations became a map. Five volumes — four publishing in 2026, a fifth in research. The inception, the application, and everything learned along the way.

what this is
If you've read the 13 open arcs, you've seen the destination: structured pathways like fearful → aware → courageous. These books are how they got there — the conversations they were noticed in, the years of testing whether the patterns held, and the practical craft of working with them.
The books aren't a catalogue of the arcs, and they aren't theory. They're field research told as story: what was observed, what it changed, and how to apply it — in how you lead, how you work with people, and how you talk to yourself.
The same research became Quantum Magic, the relational pathways API. If the API is the map machine-readable, the series is the map human-readable — with the territory it was drawn from.
the books · five volumes · five scales
Every volume walks the same ten chapters — field, coherence, recognition, discernment, wave, direction, transmission, expression, structure, source — each at a different scale: one person, between people, across time, from inside — and together.
volume i · publishing 2026
Quantum Currency — one person.
It begins with a question a two-year-old asked her mother in a kitchen in 1987 — so first you're born, then you're a child, then you grow up, and then you die? — and the forty years of watching that followed. An exploration of the complexity of human nature: what a person looks like when everything is working, what happens under compression, and how recovery actually happens — the physics, the physiology, and the scenes it was observed in. The arcs make their first appearance here.
volume ii
Relational Currency — between people.
The same ten chapters across five scales: couples, families and small groups, organizations, cultures, and human-AI. This is where the product finding lives — the premature solution as the most common way conversations collapse, and what it takes to hold space until the movement completes. The research behind the API starts here.
volume iii
Encoded Currency — across time.
The long view: how builders, chart-makers, and contemplatives across eleven and a half millennia kept encoding the same structures — in stone, in systems, in practice. Written in collaboration with an AI, and partly about what two kinds of intelligence can see together. Part travelogue, part translation guide.
volume iv
Sovereign Currency — from inside.
The field site is the researcher's own life — told through the films, songs, and stories that carried the signal when the direct channel wasn't safe. What the map looks like when the surrounding field insists you are something other than what you are. The most personal volume, and the reason the rest exist.
volume v · in research
Celebration Currency — together.
How humans have celebrated across eleven millennia — the feasts, festivals, and rituals of joy — and what those gatherings reveal when walked through the same ten chapters. The research is underway; the writing comes next.
The series, out loud.
One episode per arc for the first 13 — applied to work, leadership, and building things with people. A practical companion while the books make their way to print. Available across podcast platforms — search The Quantum CEO and press play.
where it started
Before the research had a framework, it had field notes — five novellas, written between 2016 and 2019, first-person journeys through the same territory the books now map. The fiction lives at deiadorebel.life; the songs that grew from it at deiadorebel.com. Different doors, same house.
